Overview

The Building Youth Employability Through Skills (BYETS) is a four-year development project (2022–2026) implemented by Swisscontact and funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Its primary goal is to empower 25,000 Bangladeshi youth (ages 18–35) by providing technical, entrepreneurial, and employability training across the Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Ready-Made Garments (RMG), and Agro-Processing (AP) sectors. By partnering with local training providers and private sector employers, the project aims to bridge the skills gap and connect participants—at least 50% of whom are women—to sustainable jobs or self-employment opportunities.
