Crystal Martin Bangladesh Ltd., a leading ready-made garments manufacturer specializing in lingerie, initiated a lean manufacturing masterclass to enhance operational efficiency. Initially, 18 leaders received comprehensive training in lean methodologies, including 5S, kaizen, and value stream mapping. Subsequently, these leaders spearheaded the rollout of these practices, leading to the establishment of a lean line at amigo fashions, one of their garment units. Recently, 14 aspirants for the lean black belt (CLBB) certification took the mcq test, with 12 successfully passing. These certified leaders are scheduled to present their rollout status to management and a lean master black belt (LMBB). The project is ongoing, reflecting crystal martin's commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
