ActionAid Bangladesh (AAB) is dedicated to social justice, striving to eliminate inequality and empower marginalized communities, particularly women. Recognizing the structural causes of injustice—such as patriarchy, economic disparity, and climate-induced vulnerabilities—AAB applies a feminist lens to address power imbalances and promote equitable distribution of wealth, opportunities, and privileges.

To further enhance its operational efficiency and impact, AAB has embraced Scrum and Kanban methodologies. These Agile frameworks help streamline workflows, improve collaboration, and optimize resource utilization across teams. By organizing staff in Dhaka and Cox’s Bazar into squads, AAB ensures a more responsive and adaptive approach to its mission.
